市川憂人 「ブルーローズは眠らない」
GWに入ったので読書がはかどります。
前作「ジェリーフィッシュは凍らない」を読んで気にいっていた作家さんです。
「青いバラを誕生させた」と二人の人物が同時に発表した。その青いバラには何か裏があるとだけ伝えられて主人公の女性刑事は発表者に実物を見学させてもらうことになる。両者との面会後、発表者の一人である博士が首を切断されて密室状態の温室の中で発見される。
一方で両親の虐待に耐えかねて家出した少年がある家族に保護される。そこは家族で遺伝子の研究をしており、青いバラの生成に成功していた。しかしその家には怪物が住んでおり、少年はおびえながら生活することになる、というお話。
前作と同じで主人公と別の視点を交互に話が進んでいきます。そして同様に難解な推理物になっていました。
もう一方の話とのつながりまでは推理できたのですが、一番大事な密室の作り方が分からなかった。完全に推理し切れたらかなりスゴイ。
青いバラ生成に関連して遺伝子の話が多く出てきて勉強になります。ちなみに遺伝子の知識の有無は推理面には影響しないのでご安心ください。
久しぶりにちゃんと推理しながら読みました。本書は本格的なので推理好きな方におすすめです。

This is a writer who liked previous work "Jellyfish Never Freeze".
Two people announced at the same time "I made a blue rose".
A woman criminal heard that there is something secret in the blue rose, she saw the blue rose. The main character's woman criminal visited both and saw each blue rose. After visiting the two, a doctor who is one of the presenters is found in a greenhouse in a closed room with his neck cut.
On the other hand, a boy who ran away while abusing his parents' abuse is protected by a family. They were studying genes in my family and succeeded in generating blue roses. But a monster lives in that house, and the boy will live with frightening.
As the previous novel, the story alternates with the hero and another perspective. And this is likewise an esoteric detective story. I could deduce until the connection between the main line and the other story, but
I could not guess how to make the closed room. If you can completely deduce it, it's amazing.
A lot of story of genes comes out in relation to the generation of blue rose and it is informative. Incidentally, the presence or absence of genetic knowledge does not affect inference reasons so please rest assured.
I guessed it properly after a long absence. Because this book is full-blown it is recommended for those who like to deduce.
