下村敦史 「絶声」
本屋で見つけて気になった作品。
主人公の男性は莫大な遺産を持つ父の死を待っていた。父は失踪しており、あと1時間ほどで失踪宣告が成立して法律上で死と認定されるという状況であった。彼の姉と兄も金に困窮していたため父の死による遺産を心待ちにしていたが、失踪宣言成立直前に父が隠していたブログが更新されていた。そこには父がまだ生きていることが綴られており、このままでは失踪宣言が取り消されて遺産相続が延長されてしまう。父の遺産をめぐって暗躍し、真相を探るというお話。
遺産相続をめぐるミステリー小説です。
遺産を期待していたら実は生きていた、という話は見かけることありますがブログの更新使って阻止してくるというところが目新しい。
下村さんの作品はいくつか読んだことがあるのですが、題材が毎回変わってて面白いです。
話の流れ自体は特別上手く描かれているということではないのですが、題材を上手く使って書かれているので別の面白さがあります。
作中にてお金が人生にどれくらい重要なのか、という話が多く出てきます。
お金への価値観は、他人への寄付を惜しまない人から人を殺してでも手に入れたいという人までその落差は計り知れません。
ではお金の価値観がどう決まるのかを考えると、今まで人生でいかにお金によって道が変わったかだと私は思ってます。具体的に言うと「あの時お金があったら私はもっと幸せな道を進めた」「お金がなかったら今頃地獄を見ている」という出来事にどれだけ遭遇したかです。こう考えると家庭環境の要因がかなり大きいので、他人に対していくらお金への考え方を説いても無駄かがなんとなく想像がつきます。
お金は生きていく最低限があれば十分だと私自身は思っています。社会人になりお金に余裕が出てきても、欲しいものはあまり思いつきませんでした。上記のようにお金の価値観は千差万別なのでどれだけお金に執拗になろうとも本人が幸せなら何でもいいと思っています。
内容はとてもライトに読みやすく出来ているので、気になる方は気軽に手に取ってみてください。

I may see works that were actually alive if you expected heritage. A new point is that it uses blog updates to prevent it. I have read some of Shimomura's works, it is interesting because the subject matter is rare every time.
He is not particularly good at drawing the story, but written using the subject matter well, so there is another fun.
There are many stories about how important money is in life.
The value of money is immeasurable, some people are willing to donate to others and want to get them even if they kill people.
So how do we determine the value of money? I think how money has changed the way in life. Specifically, it was how much I encountered the event that “I had a happier path if I had money at that time” and “I am looking at hell now without money” Considering this, the factors of the home environment are quite large. So even if you tell others how much you think about money, you can imagine how wasteful it is.
I think that the minimum amount of money is enough to live. Even if I became a member of society and I was able to afford money, I didn't think much of what I wanted. As you can see, the value of money is infinite, so no matter how persistent you are, you can do anything if you are happy.
