中山七里 「静おばあちゃんと要介護探偵」
静おばあちゃんの続編が出ていました。
前作の「静おばあちゃんにおまかせ」よりも時系列は前のお話で、元判事のばあちゃんと現役で現場にいる車いすのおじいちゃんが事件を解決していく短編集です。前作ではおばあちゃんが推理してましたが今回は暴走するおじいちゃんのブレーキ役の立ち位置になっており、おじいちゃんが推理役になります。
おじいちゃんの立ち振る舞いは我が儘に見えるものの、行動に一貫性があって筋は通っているので好感が持てました。目にあまるとおばあちゃんが止めにかかってくれるのでそのやり取りは面白いです。
その反面、おじいちゃんの独善的な行動を読んでてイライラする人も出てくると思われます。例えば、現在の職場で許せない高齢の人がいる人が読むとそれとリンクしてしまい嫌悪感が呼び起こされたりするかもしれません。
主人公が高齢なだけあり、作中で「老害」という言葉がよく出てきます。この作品のテーマはおそらくこれだと思います。
老害になるかどうかの基準を考えてみると、「今、目に見えて役に立っているかどうか」が一番しっくり来ました。
昔の活躍がどれだけ大きくとも今の時点で邪魔だったら排除されてしまうということです。恩知らずではありますが、いかに成果を「期内に出しているか」で評価が決まる時代になってしまっています。
高齢者の経験に基づく話は役に立たないのかというと、そんなことはありません。ではなぜみんな煙たがるのかというと、即効性がないことが多いからです。今の時代は流れが速く、情報も多く飛び交っているので現役の人間たちは「後々役に立つ」という種の情報を受け取っている余裕が少なくなっています。なので「今役に立つことじゃないなら邪魔なので要りません」という姿勢になってしまうのです。こうされると高齢者たちは何とか自分を認めてもらおうと手持ちの武勇伝などを語りますが、ますます両者の溝が深くなっているように思えました。
どういう話だったらみんな高齢者の話でも喜んで聞くだろう？と考えてみたのですが、現代人には人情系の話が一番受け入れやすいと思います。人間関係に悩んでいる人が多いのは今も昔も変わってないので、本当に信頼できる人はどんな人か？とか、いざというときに頼りになる仲間の増やし方とかいいのではないでしょうか。
本書のなかで高齢者を狙った詐欺の話が出てきます。
おじいちゃん曰く「詐欺にあう人は自分の能力が分かっていないプライドの高い人間だ」とのこと。自分の能力と器量を理解している人間なら、それを上まわる儲け話にはまず警戒する。引っかかる人は何千万円の儲け話がやって来るだけの実力が自分にあると過信しているから疑わない、という解釈でした。
言い方はきついですが、正しいです。「自分が参加しなかった方法で他人が儲けたらヤダ」という卑しいプライドが混ざってこういった詐欺に参加するのかな、とも思いました。
話の雰囲気が軽く出来ているので、サクッと読みたい人におススメです。
Shichiri Nakayama "Shizuka grandma and need long-term care detective"
There was a sequel of Shizuka grandma.
Time series is the previous story than the previous work "Leave it to Shizuka grandma". This is a short collection of former judge grandma and wheelchair grandpa working in active work solve the case. In the previous work, the grandma had deduced but this time it is the position of the brakes of grandpa who runaway, and grandpa will be the reason for drowning. Grandpa's behavior is visible to my eyes, but it is consistent in behavior and consistent, so I liked it. The interaction is moderately fun because the grandmother hangs up when he do too much.
On the other hand, it seems that some people are irritated reading grandpa's self-righteous behavior. For example, if a person with an elderly person who can not forgive in the present workplace reads, you might associate that person and you may be awaked by aversion.
here is only the main character is elderly, and the word "Obstructive senility" comes out frequently in this. I think that the theme of this novel is probably it.
Thinking the criterion as to whether or not it will become "Obstructive senility", it is most true that "Now it is clear whether it is useful or not". It is that it will be excluded if it is an obstacle at the present time no matter how big the success of the old days. Although it is ungrateful, it has become an era when the evaluation is decided by how we are currently delivering results.
Whether the talk based on the experience of the elderly is useless, it is not such a thing. So why everyone smokes, because there is not often immediate effect. Current times are fast flowing and information flows abundantly so the active people are less afforded to receive information of the kind "useful later". So, they think "If it is useless now it is an obstacle".
When this is done, the elderly talks about the bravery and so on that they are somehow able to recognize themselves. It seemed that the grooves of both became increasingly deeper.
What kind of story would everyone be willing to listen to elderly stories? I thought that. I think the story of humanity is the most acceptable for modern people. Many people who are suffering from human relations are still unchanged now and again. So how to fight with disliked seniors and how to increase the number of companions to rely on when it is time is good. So what kind of person can truly trust? In the case that it is better to increase the number of companions who can rely on when in emergency.
A story about fraud aiming at the elderly comes out in this book.
Grandpa says, "People who meet frauds are high-pride people who do not understand their abilities.".
If you are a person who understands your abilities and equipment, watch out for bigger stories larger than those. Peopel who meet fraud are overconfident that they have the ability to cope with tens of thousands of yen's profitable story.
Speech is bitter but correct.
Because the atmosphere of the talk is lightly made, it is recommended for those who want to read easily.
