中山七里 「贖罪の奏鳴曲」
GW一冊目はもらいものから。
主人公の御子柴は殺人の罪で少年院にいた過去があった。高額の報酬と引き換えにあらゆる手段で勝ちを取る弁護士として有名だった彼は高額の保険金をかけられた夫の生命維持装置を停止させたとして罪に問われている妻の弁護を引き受けることとなった。
一方でゆすりで金を稼ぐことで知られるライターが遺体で発見される。彼が最後に訪れた工場は御子柴が担当する裁判の被害者が経営しており、彼が脅迫しようとした相手は御子柴なのではと疑いがかけられる。
二つの事件の真相を追うというお話。
これは御子柴シリーズの一作品目となります。名前は聞いたことありましたが読むのは初めてでした。
中山さんには別のシリーズもあるのですが、それと比較するとミステリーとしての色が強いです。もう一個のシリーズは社会問題を良く扱っていますが、この作品はそういった書き方はされていません。
ミステリーとして見ると非常によくできています。別のシリーズしか読んだことなかったので「どんでん返しの帝王…?」と疑問でしたが、これを読むとそう言われるのも納得できます。
作中で犯罪を犯した人は変わることができるのか？という話が出てきます。そこで言われていたのは「過去の自分を殺す覚悟があれば出来る」と書いていました。
色んな作品の所感で「人を変えることは不可能」と一貫して述べていた私ですが、それは他人の立場から変えることが不可能であって、自分で自身を変えることは可能だと思っています。そういう点からも上記の考えは正しいと思います。
自分を変えるというのは今まで得られたものが今後は無くなることになるので、成功経験が多い人ほど困難になります。だからこそ地位のある人やプライドの高い人はそれらを失うのが怖くて、分かっていても変わることが出来ない。
私自身のことを見返すと、変わることには抵抗がないです。環境が変わるごとに次はこうなりたいとか考えて性格をちょこちょこ改変していっています。なので昔の同級生が私と接触すると変わりすぎて驚くかもしれませんね。
ミステリーが好きな人は読んでおいて損はないのでぜひ読んでみてください。
Shichiri Nakayama "Song of Atonement"
The first book on GW is a gift.
Mikoshiba who is s lawyer had a past in the juvenile school for murder. He was well-known as a lawyer who won all means in return for high rewards. One day he would take on the defense of a guilty wife for stopping the life-supporting device of her husband who had subscribed to a large amount of insurance.
On the other hand, a writer known for earning money by brute is found in the body. The plant he last visited was managed by a victim of a trial for which Mikoshi was in charge. From that point he is suspected that he is trying to intimidate Mikoshiba.
This is the first novel of the Mikoshi series. I've heard the name but it was my first time reading.
Mr. Nakayama has another series, but in comparison with that the mystery is strong. The other series deals well with social issues, but this piece is not written that way.
This is very well done as a mystery. I was wondering, "Is it really a climax empire ...?" But I can understand if you read this.
"Can a person who committed a crime in the film change?" that comes out comes out in the making. It was written there that it was written "If you are ready to kill yourself in the past".
I have consistently stated in many articles that it is impossible to change people. I think that it is impossible to change from the standpoint of others, and it is possible to change oneself. To change oneself means that what has been obtained up to now will be lost in the future, so the more successful you get, the harder it gets.
That's why people with high standing and pride are afraid to lose them and can not change even if they know.
Looking back at myself, there is no resistance to change. Every time the environment changes, I think that I want to be like this and change the character. So it may be surprising that old classmates have changed too much when in contact with me.
