秋吉理香子 「ガラスの殺意」
本屋で見かけて気になったので買ってみました。
ある女性がかつて両親を殺した通り魔を刺殺したと自ら警察に通報した。しかし彼女は事故が原因で記憶障害を患っており、自分が刺殺したことどころか通報したことも覚えていなかった。そのために取り調べの内容の信憑性がなく、復讐と思われる動機や計画性について立証するのが難しくなった。事件の真相と彼女の真意は何か？というお話。
秋吉さんと言えば心理描写の上手さですが、これはミステリー小説としてもかなり良いです。
記憶障害という設定が上手く使われていて、真相を絶妙に隠しています。ラストシーンでも演出に一役買っていて感動的でした。ラストでようやくタイトルの意味も読み取れました。
心理描写は主人公の刑事が認知症の親の介護について悩んでいる部分などでこれまたリアルに書かれています。介護経験者の方が読んだら共感する部分がたくさんありそうに見えました。
読んでて気になるのは、記憶障害という設定のせいで同じようなやり取りが何度も出てくること。設定上しょうがないといえども、冗長な印象はやはり出てしまっています。
少し前に読んだ秋吉さんの別の作品はイマイチだったのですが、これは面白いのでおススメです。

I bought it because it was interesting to see in a book store.
A woman reported to the police herself that she had stabbed a stranger that once killed her parents. But she suffered from memory problems due to the accident, she did not remember having killed him. For that reason there is no credibility of the contents of the interrogation, it became difficult to prove motivation and planning which seems revenge.
What is the truth of the case and her real intention? .
Speaking of her is a good psychological depiction, but this is pretty good as a mystery novel.
The setting of memory disturbance is used well, and it is hiding the truth exquisitely. It was effective in the last scene and directing, it was moving. Finally I could read the meaning of the title.
Regarding psychological description, the part of the female hero's criminal who is suffering from care of the parents of dementia is written in real. It seemed that there were many parts that empathy was experienced by experienced caregivers.
It is the point to worry about that the same kind of communication comes out many times due to the setting of memory disturbance. Although it can not be helped setting up, the redundant impression has already come out.
Another novel of heri who read a while ago was not good, but this is interesting because it is interesting.
