湊かなえ 「豆の上で眠る」
本屋で平積みされていて気になっていた作品。
主人公には姉がおり、小学生のときに行方不明となる。
あらゆる手段を使っても見つからなかったが、あるとき神社で発見されて保護される。
しかし主人公は戻ってきた姉が偽物なのではと疑い始める。姉の正体は何者なのか？というお話。
湊かなえの作品にしては珍しく印象薄い作品でした。
心理描写のディープさが好きだったのですが、これはそういった描写が特にない。
姉を探しているときの母親の行動が少し不気味なくらい。
ミステリーとしても驚きは特にありません。結構ありがちな展開で、へぇそうだったんだ、っていうくらいでした。
湊かなえにしてはサクッと読める、という見方もできる。
もしかしたら小さなお子さんをお持ちの方が読んだら何か感じるものがあるかもしれません。
けど期待しない方がいいと思います。

The Heroine has an older sister. Her sister was missing when she was in elementary school.
She could not be found with any means. But at one time she was found in the shrine.
But she began to doubt that her sister who came back is fake. Who is the true character of her sister?
This doesn’t have much of a presence.
I liked the psychological portrayal of deepness, but this does not have such a depiction.
Only her mother's behavior when looking for her sister was a bit spooky.
There is no surprise for this as a mystery. It was a common development.
If you have a little child reading it may have something to feel.
But I think that you should not expect it.
