芦沢央 「罪の余白」
本屋で平積みされているのを見つけて買ってみました。
主人公の娘が学校で転落死した。自殺とみられるがそれほどまでに思い詰める何かがあるとは思えず、本当の理由を探り始める。一方で自殺へと追いやった女子生徒はそのことが世間にばれたら芸能界入りの夢が断たれてしまうことを恐れて、いじめがあったことが発覚しないように周囲を動かし始める、というお話。
イジメをテーマにした社会問題系の作品です。近頃イジメをテーマにした作品が増えてきているような気がします。
この作品の見所はいじめをした側の女子学生の醜さを上手く描いていることです。あまりの身勝手さと反省のなさに憤怒する人もいそうに思えました。
ストーリーとしては、いじめの真相を暴くというオーソドックスなものです。ミステリーと言えるほど謎があるわけではないので、登場人物の心理描写を楽しむ読み方で良いと思います。
読んでいて良く分からなかったのが、落ち込んだ父親の世話をしている女性が何の為に登場しているのかという点。生来嘘がつけない、という女性だったのですがラストシーン以外特に出てくる必要なかったのでは…という印象でした。
父親が女子生徒たちに反省しているか試す、というシーンがありました。
いじめをした中高生が反省することはあるのか？という点についてですが、反省する可能性は0だと私は思っています。反省が「自分が悪いことをしたと自覚し考え直すこと」という意味だとしたら、いじめをしている時点では悪いことをしている自覚がないことになります。今の学校教育なら「いじめは悪いこと」というのを中高生になるまでに何度も教えられているはず。それだけ教えられてまだ分からないなら、理解することなど一生ありえません。
これは社会人のパワハラも同じです。私の会社でも最近ハラスメント教育をやっていますが、何の効果もないでしょう。他人を傷つけて気持ち良くなりながら生きてきた汚物がそんな程度で治るわけありません。残念ですが、死んでもらう以外に治す方法はありません。
特筆するような点は少ないですが、読みやすくてうまくまとまっているので気軽に読むことが出来ます。
この作者の作品をいくつか読んでみたくなりました。

I found it being stacked in the bookstore and bought it.
The daughter of the hero fell in school at the school. They were supposed to commit suicide, but he did not think there was anything to think of as much. He started exploring real reasons. On the other hand, girls who drove her to commit suicide were afraid that their dream of entertainment entering the entertainment industry would be declined if that became public. She began to move her surroundings so that it does not occur that bullying has occurred.
This is a novel of the social problem system with the theme of bullying. It seems recently that works with bizarre themes are on the rise.
The point of view of this work is skillfully depicting the ugliness of female students on the side of bullying. Some people will be furious with too much selfishness and no reflection.
As this is not mysterious enough to be called a mystery, I think that it is good to read how to enjoy the psychological description of the characters.
What I did not understand well after reading is what the woman taking care of the depressed father is appearing for. It was a woman naturally cannot lie, but it seemed that it was not necessary to come out especially than the last scene.
There was a scene that the father tried to see whether girls students are reflecting. I think that there is no possibility of reflection.
If reflection means that it means "I realize that I am doing something wrong and I think about it again", at the time of bullying you will have no consciousness of doing bad things.
In school education now, "Bullying is bad" should have been taught many times before becoming middle and high school / high school students. If it is taught that I have not taught it yet, they cannot understand for the rest of their life.
This is the same as the power harassment of society people. My company has done harassment education recently, but it will not have any effect. There is no way that the dirt that has survived while hurting others and becoming pleasant will cure in such a degree. There is no cure other than getting dead.
Although there are few points to be noted, it is easy to read because it is easy to read and can be easily read.
I want to read some novels of this author.
