柚木裕子 「最後の証人」
今回は貰いものを読んでみました。
主人公は弁護士。ホテルで起きた不倫の末の刺殺事件の被告人の弁護を依頼される。提示されている証拠から被告人が犯人であることはほぼ確実であった。
一方で息子を交通事故で亡くした夫婦がいた。息子が信号無視をしたと扱われて加害者は不起訴となり納得がいかなかったが、あるとき加害者の男性が飲酒運転をしていたことを知ってしまう。それを知った妻は加害者に復讐することを計画し始める、というお話。
この作品はシリーズ物のミステリーです。
最初に読んだのは面白かった覚えがあったのですが、今回のは印象薄くて特にコメントすることがない。
つまらないわけではないのですが、どこが面白かったかと聞かれても挙げられない。
結末も大方予想がつくので驚きもなかった。最後に夫の取った行動だけは唯一良かったシーンだと思います。
本線内容は特筆することはなかったんですが、印象的なセリフがありましたので紹介します。
「一度目は過ちだが、二度目は過ちではなく生き方になる」という主人公のセリフです。
間違いをしたときにどういう行動取るかはその人の生き方を如実に表していると思う。後悔の念はたくさん口にするけど行動は何もしない人を見たことありますが、本心では間違えた非を自分のせいにしたくないと思っているんだろうと容易に推測できます。私は自分に降りかかる出来事は全部自分のせいだと思っているので、対策考えるのは結構好きです。
この話に付随して普段から思っていることを一つお話しましょう。
一度目は過ち、と言っていますが世間で昔から広く言い伝えられている戒めをわざわざ犯す人は愚の骨頂だと思っています。
例えば「大切なものは失ったときに初めて気づく」というのは遥か昔から言われているのに、大切なものを粗末に扱って失ったことを後悔する人が未だにいるのが理解できない。こういう方々は「私はそういう奴らとは違うから同じ結末にはならない」という傲慢に満ち溢れているので救いようがない。このタイプの人を改める方法はないので、治したかったら死んでもらうしかないと思ってます。
内容はそこまででもなかったのですが、考えるきっかけになる良いセリフがあったので良しとしましょう。

I tried to read something ugly this time.
The main character is a lawyer. He was asked to defend the accused of an affair's last stab case at the hotel. It was almost certain that the accused was the perpetrator from the evidence presented.
On the other hand, there was a couple who lost their son in a traffic accident. It was treated that the son ignored the signal, and the perpetrator was not charged and was not convinced, but at one time he knew that the perpetrator's man was drinking and driving. Story that wife who knew it begins to plan revenge on the perpetrator.
This is a mystery of series.
I remembered that it was interesting to read at first, but this time is thin and I do not comment in particular.
It's not boring, but I can't say where it was interesting. There was no surprise as the end could be expected as well. I think that the action taken by the husband at the end is the only good scene.
I did not mention the main line contents, but introduced because there were impressive words.
It is a line of the hero that "the first time is a mistake but the second time is not a mistake but a way of life". I think that what action you take when you make a mistake shows how the person lives. I have seen people who regret many thoughts but do not do anything. I can easily guess that you really do not want to blame yourself for the wrong. I like to think about measures, because I think that everything happening around me is my fault.
Let's talk about one thing that you usually think in addition to this story.
I say that the first time is a mistake, but I think that those who purposely commit the commandments that have been widely told in the world are the bones of stupidity.
For example, it is said from a long time ago that "important things are first noticed when they are lost". However, I can not understand that there are still people who regret that they have treated and lost important things. These people are full of arrogance that "I will not be the same end because they are different from them" so I can not save. There is no way to change this type of person, so I think I have no choice but to get dead if you want to cure it.
The content is not good, but let's say it was good because there was a good line to start thinking.
