辻村深月 「凍りのクジラ」
冬休み4冊目。休み中にこれほど読書したのは初めてかもしれない。
主人公は写真家であった父親の影響で藤子・F・不二夫が好きな女子高生。その父は失踪していまい、母親も入院生活をしている。
彼女はその性格からどこにでも溶け込めるが、いなくても問題ない存在の自分に悩んでいた。
あるとき同じ学校で父のファンである男子生徒から写真のモデルになってほしいと依頼される。彼の持つ話しやすさから恋人のこと、家族のことなどを相談していく、というお話。
心理描写を中心とした作品でした。他の作品もそうでしたが登場人物の内情を非常にうまく描いています。
この作品を面白く感じるかどうかは、メインの人物の中に共感できる人がいるかどうかで決まりそう。
出てくる人物は一癖二癖ある性格しているので、どの人物とも共感できないと行動が理解できなくてイライラしてしまうと思います。
私の場合は主人公の相談相手の男子生徒の考え方が自分と非常に似ていたため、ためになりつつも楽しめました。
この男子生徒がどんな性格していたかというと「少しフラット」というものでした。
相談を聞いているときも相手が親しいからといって肩入れせずに平等な立場から話を聞くという姿勢です。
そして、話は聞くけど自分から具体的な行動をして相手を救い出すことはしない。
まさしく自分がやっていることそのままでした。こういう性格の人間が周りからどう見えるかが本書読んでいて少し見えたので参考になりました。
前読んだ「スロウハイツの神様」や「かがみの孤城」と比べて人を選びそうな作品でした。
また全600ページほどあるので、触りを読んで確認してから買うのが良いと思います。
Mizuki Tsujimura "Frozen whale"
It may be the first time that I have read so much during one vacation.
She came to like Fujio F · Fujio in the influence of her father who was a photographer. But that father has disappeared, and her mother is also in hospital. She has a personality that makes her friends with anyone. She is suffering that there is no problem without me in any group. She was asked by male students who is a fan of her father to become a photo model. He is easy-going personality, so she consults a lover or family.
This is a novel centered on psychological description. She writes the inner state of the characters very well like other novels. I think that if there is a person among the main characters whom you can sympathize, you feel this interestingly.
Characters have some habits of personality. So, if you cannot sympathize with any person, you are irritated because you cannot understand the behavior.
In the case of mine the male student's way of thinking was very similar to myself, I enjoyed this.
His personality is "a little flat".
He listens from an equal position without unfair promotion even a familiar person. He listens but he doesn’t do own actions to rescue her. This is exactly what I do. I saw how a person with this personality can be seen from the surroundings.
Whether you like this depends on your preference.
Since this book has about 600 pages, I think that it is innocuousness to buy it after checking and checking the tidbit.
